The founders of Tench Gear are dedicated fishermen, who are all veterans of armed forces. They all served for decades in various units of NATO countries. The founders gained experience in active deployments for many years and realized that they can excellently apply their knowledge – gained during the development of military equipment – also to the design and manufacture of fishing equipment. Their special life experiences, which were obtained under the most extreme conditions, were effectively adapted into the development of the world's first modular fishing equipment. They learned the hard way from non-tolerant conditions, there are no compromises with their equipment; the only product that survives is the one that can withstand extreme, heavy use and excels in all extreme conditions. The founders’ main passion is predator-fishing, which led them to the idea of using their experiences to develop a completely new fishing method and new equipment.

They set themselves two different goals. First: all the tools bearing their names endure any extreme use whatever the circumstance and environmental impact. Second: all Tench Gear tools and accessories are compatible, modular with each other ensuring the user a perfect possibility of customizable and continuously improved equipment.

Our equipment is the result of years of development and produced for fishing techniques, which open the possibility of unknown terrain to the user, at the same time the angler is constantly put to the test and his equipment as well.
